Guarantees

Egypt Travel Planner (Origins Travel Group V.O.F.) takes part in two recognised Dutch guarantee schemes. Your complete trip is covered by VZR Garant and the Dutch Calamity Fund (Stichting Calamiteitenfonds Reizen). Both schemes apply to every traveller who books with us, wherever you live.

VZR Garant

To meet the statutory guarantee requirement for tour operators in the Netherlands, Origins Travel Group V.O.F. takes part in the guarantee scheme of VZR Garant. We are registered as a participant under VZR Garant number 134764. You can check this yourself on the participant page at VZR Garant (in Dutch, listed under our Dutch brand Egyptereis.nl, which is the same company).

The guarantee of VZR Garant applies within the limits of its guarantee scheme, which you can find on the VZR Garant website. The scheme states exactly which travel services the guarantee covers and what it means for you.

If services are not provided because of the insolvency of Origins Travel Group V.O.F., you can contact:

Dutch Calamity Fund (Calamiteitenfonds)

Origins Travel Group V.O.F. (Chamber of Commerce no. 99397315) takes part in the Stichting Calamiteitenfonds Reizen, the Dutch Calamity Fund.

The guarantee of the Calamity Fund means that, as a traveller on a trip to which the guarantee applies, you:

• get (part of) your travel sum back if we cannot carry out the trip, or cannot carry it out in full, because of a calamity;
• are reimbursed for the necessary extra costs if we have to change the trip because of a calamity, or have to bring you home early.

A calamity is an abnormal event caused by civil unrest or a natural disaster.

The guarantee scheme of the Calamity Fund applies to your booking. You can find the conditions in the guarantee scheme. The Calamity Fund sends you these conditions on request.

The price includes the Calamity Fund contribution (€2.50 per booking).
