We act with the greatest possible care, but accept liability only to the extent that this is required or permitted by law.
2.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, quotations, agreements, bookings and communications of Egypt Travel Planner, regardless of the channel through which they are made (including WhatsApp, email or the website).
2.2. By confirming a booking, the client declares that he or she has read and agrees to these terms.
2.3. Deviating or additional arrangements are valid only if they have been confirmed in writing by Egypt Travel Planner.
2.4. The terms of Egypt Travel Planner prevail at all times over any terms and conditions of third parties or clients.
3.1. Egypt Travel Planner offers tailor-made travel experiences in Egypt, including:
3.2. Egypt Travel Planner acts at all times as an intermediary between the traveller and the local service providers (such as hotels, transport companies and guides). We are not the party that performs these services.
3.3. We work exclusively with carefully selected local partners who are demonstrably reliable and meet local safety and quality standards. Nevertheless, these parties remain independently responsible for the performance of their services.
3.4. Egypt Travel Planner accepts no liability for errors, omissions, delays, cancellations or shortcomings of these third parties.
3.5. If Egypt Travel Planner assists with booking flights, it does so purely as a service. The contract for air transport is concluded directly between the client and the airline. Where applicable, the client retains his or her rights directly against the airline under the applicable laws and regulations, including Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 on air passenger rights.
4.1. A booking is made as soon as Egypt Travel Planner has sent a written or electronic confirmation (by email or WhatsApp).
4.2. Deposit: a deposit is required at the time of booking, calculated on the basis of the direct costs needed to secure reservations with local partners.
4.3. Balance: the remaining amount must have been credited in full to the account of Egypt Travel Planner no later than 45 days before departure.
4.4. If the booking is made within 45 days before departure, the full travel price is payable immediately.
4.5. In the event of late payment, Egypt Travel Planner reserves the right to cancel the trip without refunding any amounts already paid.
4.6. In the event of late or incomplete payment, Egypt Travel Planner is entitled to suspend the performance of its services in whole or in part until full payment has been received. In that case, Egypt Travel Planner is not liable for any consequences or damage resulting from this suspension.
5.1. Cancellations must be submitted in writing (by email or WhatsApp) and are valid only after Egypt Travel Planner has confirmed receipt in writing.
5.2. Cancellation free of charge is possible within 48 hours of the booking confirmation.
5.3. After this cooling-off period, the following cancellation charges apply:
5.4. Egypt Travel Planner will endeavour to obtain any refunds from local partners, but is under no obligation to do so. Only amounts that are actually refunded by third parties can be reimbursed.
5.5. Travellers are themselves responsible for taking out cancellation insurance.
If flights are booked as part of the trip by Egypt Travel Planner (or an organisation affiliated with it), the terms and conditions of the airline concerned apply to those flights.
Where flights have been booked at a fare that by its nature is non-refundable, or only partly refundable or changeable, the associated costs cannot be refunded if the traveller cancels, insofar as Egypt Travel Planner cannot recover these costs (in full) from the airline.
The costs of such non-refundable flights are charged to the traveller in full, in addition to and on top of the cancellation charges set out in article 5.3, regardless of the time of cancellation, insofar as these costs have been irreversibly incurred.
The cancellation percentages in article 5.3 are calculated on the total travel price, including the value of work already carried out and of organisation, reservation and advisory costs.
If an airline nevertheless grants a (partial) refund, the amount actually received will be paid on to the traveller after receipt, less any reasonable administration costs.
5.7. If a trip is cancelled because of unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances (such as natural disasters, political unrest, weather conditions or government decisions), Egypt Travel Planner will endeavour to reschedule the trip. Refunds are made only insofar as local partners refund amounts.
Requests for changes must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability. Any additional costs will be charged to the client.
In unforeseen circumstances, such as changes in the weather, the closure of roads or hotels, or safety risks, Egypt Travel Planner may adjust the trip or parts of it. We will always try to offer a suitable alternative, but are not liable for any damage or costs arising from this.
Force majeure includes, among other things: natural disasters, pandemics, war, riots, strikes, fire, government measures and delays in transport. In the event of force majeure, Egypt Travel Planner is not obliged to provide a refund or compensation. Clients should take out suitable travel insurance to cover this.
7.1. Egypt Travel Planner is liable only for damage that is the direct result of intent or gross negligence.
7.2. In all cases, the liability of Egypt Travel Planner is limited to no more than the travel price paid, and only in proportion to the part of the trip that objectively and demonstrably fell short.
7.3. Egypt Travel Planner is not liable for:
7.4. The traveller indemnifies Egypt Travel Planner against all third party claims arising from his or her conduct or negligence during the trip.
7.5. If unjustified claims, complaints or legal proceedings are brought against Egypt Travel Planner by or on behalf of the client, all reasonable costs of legal assistance, defence and correspondence shall be borne by the client.
8.1. The traveller is responsible for:
8.2. Participation in adventurous activities (such as desert excursions, snorkelling, diving or off-road tours) is entirely at the participant's own risk. Egypt Travel Planner and its partners are not liable for injury or material damage arising from such activities.
9.1. Bookings with local service providers are subject to their own general terms and conditions.
9.2. Egypt Travel Planner is not a party to the agreement between the client and the local supplier and is not responsible for the performance or quality of services provided by third parties.
9.3. Clients must report complaints or damage directly to the provider concerned. If Egypt Travel Planner mediates, it does so as a gesture of goodwill and without any liability.
9.4. Egypt Travel Planner is not responsible for any printing, typesetting, programming or communication errors, nor for any discrepancies between published information (such as descriptions, photos or other images from third parties) and the actual situation on site. All information shown is compiled with care, but serves solely to illustrate the travel experience.
10.1. Clients are themselves responsible for holding valid passports, visas and any vaccinations required. For up-to-date information, please consult the travel advice of the foreign ministry of your country of residence, for example the UK government's foreign travel advice for Egypt.
10.2. Egypt Travel Planner accepts no liability for refusal of entry to a country or for delays caused by missing or invalid documents.

11.2. Use or reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
11.3. Official communication may take place by email or WhatsApp, but messages are deemed to have been received only after confirmation by Egypt Travel Planner.
12.1. Egypt Travel Planner processes personal data solely for the purpose of carrying out bookings and providing travel-related services.
12.2. Data is not sold or shared with third parties, except where this is necessary for carrying out the booked trip.
12.3. Clients have the right to access, correct and delete their personal data. See also our privacy policy.
13.1. All agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
13.2. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
